I recently bought a Nikon d3100 dSLR camera, and I'm really enjoying it. I'm just sort of confused about how to download the images I've taken onto a computer (I have a Mac). The camera didn't come with a cord to download the images, so I was wondering if someone could tell me how to transfer the images onto my Mac. It's my first dSLR, so I'm a little new to this. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Whatever photo software you choose to use with the photos you take on your Nikon D3100, D5100, or D7000, you can take the following approaches to downloading images to your computer: Connect the camera to the computer via a USB cable. The USB cable you need is supplied in the camera box. Use a memory card reader. Prodigy mac 10 handle download.

Best would be for you to take the SD card out of the D3100 and plug it in directly to the macbook, I assume it has a card reader, as new ones do (I believe).
if not, go out to… Pretty much any store that sells simple electronics and they should have an SD card reader which can easily be found for under $10, and you can even get a multi-card reader for about $10. Just plug it in the USB port, plug in the SD card, and use it as you would any memory stick.
It's strange that your D3100 didn't come with a USB cable. That actually puzzles me a little: S
If your Mac has a card reader, simply take out the SD card from the camera and plug it in.iPhoto (or whatever program you're using) will then sync with the SD card and you'll have the option to import the images. Behringer xenyx x2222usb usb driver download mac.
If you don't have a card reader either built in or externally, consider buying one (they're cheap) and if not - almost any computer store will stock micro-USB cables which you could connect directly to the camera, then to the computer.
